Challenge

Fri Jun 19, 2009, 6:48 PM
~epiphanonic and I will be doing an art challenge between ourselves. Doing one piece of art a week based on pre-selected songs, we will see how vastly different our works are despite a common focus. She chose 10 songs and I chose 10 songs, then we agreed on them (in some cases we didn't know the other's songs, or we weren't an immediate fan of those selected). The list is set up where we have a back-and-forth selection, meaning a song I chose, then one she chose, then me, her, me, her, ect.

We can use our own characters, settings, random creations, doesn't matter, as long as it's some hand-drawn (ie no photography) picture that relates, in our own opinion, back to the song.

1. Walk Away by Mad at Gravity [link]
2. It's Been Awhile by Staind
3. Love Me Dead by Ludo
4. Forever by Papa Roach
5. Shine Your Cadillac by Evans Blue
6. Dance Dance by Fall Out Boy
7. Here It Goes Again by OK Go
8. Cellblock Tango from Chicago
9. As Long as I'm Here With You from Thoroughly Modern Millie
10. Santa Fe from Rent
11. Misery by Trans-Siberian Orchestra
12. Perfect Drug by Nine Inch Nails
13. La Vie Boheme from Rent
14. I'm Not Jesus by Apocalyptica
15. Behind Closed Doors by Rise Against
16. Sober by Tool
17. Real Gone by Sheryl Crow
18. Walking in My Shoes by Depeche Mode
19. March of Mephisto by Kamelot
20. Changes by 3 Doors Down

I'm hoping this will help me with Reaver art =P

We often miss the small things in life as we rush through the day doing whatever we need to do to survive in this hectic world.
HAHA! Well, it's not overtly explained for a reason, but the character Rye is, in fact, male, in my brain. And Phinneas is male too, of course : ) Does that change your perception of the story any? :O
Actually no, I thought it male/male but I've been wrong before, haha. Very embarrassing when that happens.

Now I really like the story knowing my perception was correct right off the back =P
Hehe! I thought I gave some tiny little hints here and there about Rye being a guy, but I also threw some red herrings out there to indicate otherwise. I'm glad you were correct too (as a side note, nearly 100% of my writing involves male/male if there's any romance at all, just for your information XD!)

 You like the m/m I take it C:
Yes ma'am :D I've had several occasions with my own characters where they started out straight but I wanted to write a random slash situation with them and eventually they either turned gay or bi, haha. Oh, our poor characters.
Hahaha! I don't feel sorry for them >:'D Most of my gay boys are in very lovely relationships ; A ; Though it's very fun to torment them from time to time (read: all the time)
